Breakfast

Today I'm at home so thought that I would make myself a lovely breakfast:

Ingredients:

1/2 a Marks and Spencers gluten free multi seed roll (Bottom 1/2)
2 ripe on the vine tomatoes, grilled without fat
Butter
Freshly ground pepper
and I added some parmezan cheese after I took the photo!

All washed down with a very large (Starbucks size) cup of tea!

whoopie pies

I think I've just fallen in love with a Whoopie pie!

I was listening to radio 4 the other day and they were talking about the Whoopie pie being the next big thing in cake based food and my my my my my they look scrumptious!

Essentially a Whoopie pie is a cake and cream sandwich.

Today's lunch for me today consists of a salad box lunch again. Not very inspiring or exciting but pesto is included!

muffaletta sandwich

I've come across the amazing Muffaletta Sandwich and was wondering if it's possible to create a brittish/bento/gluten free version!

Just looking at this now is making me really really hungry! Its just my kind of thing, Salami, cheese, olives, salad ect - awesome!

Today my bento is a little dull in comparison:

Salad, tomatoes, cottage cheese and cucumber! Bring on tomorrows Muffaletta!

Cutters

Again today I used my new cookie cutters and I am really pleased with the result!

Instantly my lunch box looks more exciting. :)

Today however I have added some little picks of marinated tofu to add some protein to my lunch. They don't look very pretty but I will experiment to make them look nicer!
